Excited to go shooting tomorrow!
 
Picked up a new Ruger 22/45 today and I also have a never fired Glock 30. Heading to a public range tomorrow morning. I have not been in a while.

I also joined a local, private pistol club and will be getting into some matches soon. Tomorrow is basically to see how rusty I am and familiarize myself with the range again.

There's going to be lots of shooting this summer (22lr) :D. I only wish I had friends that were into it. I have a girlfriend who I will be taking so on. I hope she likes the 22/45, so I can get her one of her own. I also have atleast one friend and a stepfather that I want to take soon.

Glad to hear your getting back into shooting. I despise ranges tho. I'll take the 3 hour drive to my land if I want to shoot =p

That's what's nice about having some acreage. You can just go outside and shoot in the backyard. One of my neighbors has been shooting every day for the last week. I was going to go out and blow off my .50 magnum, just to let him know who's is bigger! LOL!

With the sky high cost of ammo, I've got to wonder if ammo sales are down. The only thing I shoot anymore is .22LR.

Something that helps with taking the girlfriend. If possible shoot reactive targets, pop cans, bottles, something that moves when hit. Much more exciting than paper targets. Also start her with the .22 no need to scare her with recoil.
